Using timestamps for key moments in a video description, you can make your videos scannable so viewers can quickly find and click on the content they need when searching. The same way you can skim through a text to find a section of a topic, you can help people find specific information within a video by placing timestamp links.
A timestamp is a clickable link to a specific part of a YouTube video; Timestamps are found in the description beneath the video. Rather than waiting for a complete video to run from zero seconds to the point you want to, the timestamp feature enables a direct link to any second of the video. This gives viewers the ability to jump right to the information that is relevant to their search with a click.
Timestamps make your YouTube video user-friendly, more informative, and searchable. This is very useful especially when a video has multiple steps or it's too long. It also works great in tutorial videos that contain content created for beginners as well as advanced people who usually are seeking out specific information.
Timestamps are also great for SEO and can really help if you want to improve the viewing results and optimize your video performance on Google and YouTube. They provide better-focused traffic as the relevant sections appear underneath the search engine results.
Timestamps are an easy and helpful feature that you can use in your Linkdeli products list to help people find the point of the video you showcase the product they are searching for.

Check out our tutorial video to learn how you can install it or follow the steps below:
2. Save the file on your computer and extract it.
3. Open a new tab on Chrome and search for chrome://extensions (or click on the 3 vertical dots at the top right, select More Tools> Extensions).
4. Switch to the developer mode.
5. Click to load the unpacked file.
